个人简介：2007年毕业于中国海洋大学，获博士学位，研究领域为有害藻类分类和系统发育，有害赤潮发生机理，在国内外主要期刊发表论文60多篇，出版专著《中国近海甲藻包囊》一本。

科技贡献：发现并命名了甲藻门的6个新属，21个新种，并修订了3个属，8个种。系统研究了中国沿海的产毒甲藻分布和毒素特征，在中国海域发现了产生氮杂螺环酸的腹孔环氨藻，并首次证明该种可以产生多种成分的毒素，首次在中国海域发现了产生江瑶毒素的Vulcanodinium rugosum；在中国黄渤海、楚科奇海首次发现了产生麻痹性贝毒的链状亚历山大藻，并提出该种为冷水种的新观点。
